I started running when I moved to Oregon in 2008. When I first started, I couldn't even run to the end of my block! I made it my goal to just run a little bit further each time. Not too much time went by before I realized how much I loved the sport of running. I signed up for my first 5k in April 2009. I have loved watching my speed and distance increase as the years have gone by.

Short-Term Running Goals:
My goal is to improve my speed. It has slowly increase over the past 3 years!
Long-Term Running Goals:
Lifetime goal of running: just to enjoy and remember how blessed I am to be able to run.
Personal:
Married for 16 years!! 2 boys, ages 12 and 9. Love my three boys!
First run in 10 days. The dr. restricted me to walking only for 2 weeks. He had me go for a "test run" after 10 days to see how the leg felt. Sadly, it hurt quite a bit and was oh-so achy last night. Not sure what to do next......
